Call intake for landscape designers
Help landscape designers turn project inquiries into clear notes about the property, design goal, timing, and next conversation.
Clarify the design goal
Ask what the caller wants to change, which areas are involved, and whether the request is for a new design, a revision, or ongoing care. Do not assume that design includes construction, planting, maintenance, or permitting.
Capture property and timing
Record the address or service area, property type, desired timing, access constraints, and callback number. Note the caller’s stated priorities rather than translating them into a design opinion before review.
Route scope questions
Questions about feasibility, site visits, drawings, contractors, or approvals belong with the assigned designer. Preserve the exact question and explain the next review step. Avoid promising a concept, visit, or schedule without confirmation.
Keep the inquiry usable
The handoff should identify the goal, location, timing, and open question. Review inquiries for missing service areas or vague outcomes. Update the opening when a repeated gap causes another intake call.
