Mobile Imaging Calls
Plan the intake for a mobile imaging facility call
Organize facility, order, equipment, patient-volume, access, and scheduling details without interpreting an order or confirming clinical suitability.
Identify the facility request
Capture facility name and address, unit or floor, clinical and administrative contacts, callback number, requested modality, requested date, and whether the call concerns one patient, a recurring round, or an existing visit.
Inventory what has arrived
Record the ordering provider, order status, patient count, demographic roster status, authorization status, and infection-control or isolation information requested by the provider's policy. Describe records as received or pending; do not interpret an order or decide whether a patient qualifies.
Capture operational constraints
Ask about loading access, parking, elevators, electrical requirements listed in the approved checklist, room availability, security, and staff escort. Equipment selection, image protocol, radiation safety, and clinical preparation remain with qualified imaging personnel.
Confirm the scheduling state
Read back the facility, service requested, patient count, preferred window, and outstanding documents. Clearly label the visit as requested, held pending review, or confirmed. Do not promise a technologist, vehicle, or completion time unless the scheduling system shows authorization to do so.
