Capture a specialty gas cylinder delivery request safely
Record account, product, quantity, site, and timing details without identifying an unknown gas, advising cylinder handling, or promising stock.
Match the approved account and product
Capture organization, account or purchase-order reference, authorized requester, callback number, delivery location, and the exact catalog name, product code, concentration, grade, cylinder size, and valve specification supplied by the caller. Never infer a gas from cylinder color.
Separate delivery details from technical advice
Record full and empty quantities, exchange or new-cylinder request, dock or lab destination, receiving hours, vehicle restrictions, and requested date. Product compatibility, regulator selection, substitution, purity, and application advice belong to qualified supplier staff.
Escalate leaks and unknown cylinders
If a caller reports a leak, damaged valve, fire exposure, unknown cylinder, or suspected medical-gas interruption, use the supplier's emergency procedure immediately. Do not coach moving, venting, testing, or repairing a cylinder. Preserve the caller's location and observations.
Confirm what is still unconfirmed
Read back codes, quantities, address, requested timing, and receiving contact. Mark stock, hazmat delivery conditions, credit, price, and route availability as pending unless an authorized system confirms them. Give a clear order-review owner and response channel.
